EDUCATIONAL AND LANGUAGE TECHNOLOGY LABORATORY
The Educational and Language Technology Group
belongs to the Section of Computer Systems and Applications of the
Faculty of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University
of Athens. Research activities of the laboratory focus on the development
of virtual learning environments. More specifically, the research
group has designed and implemented:
(i) Web-based Adaptive Educational
Systems that support learner's navigation and study, reflective
dialogue, assessment and collaboration
(ii) Educational Software for teaching:
- Physics and History in the Secondary
- Computer Architecture in Higher Education
(iii) Web courses- Interactive Multimedia
educational material for Distance Learning in Higher Education (available
only in the Greek page of the site)
(iv) Activities for Computer Science Education based on the Web,
educational software and Logo-like environments (available only
in the Greek page of the site)
(v) Natural Language Processing Tools supporting morphological,
semantic and general corpus analysis of Modern Greek Standard.
